The resent bombs in Bangkok were very small and probable set off to fight a dispute between politics. The crime rate in Thailand is much lower then in most western city’s. Still there are people trying to hussle you, we will tell you about what to look out for. The very deep south (a small area next to the border with Malaysia) is not save to go to.

The knowledge of the doctors is good, but the facility’s are limitated. The private hospitals are the best in the world. People from all over the world come to thailand for medical treatment, like cosmatic operation because of the good qaulity, low price and excellent service. In the best hospitals you don’t have the feeling that you enter a hospital, but an 5 star hotel. Dental care is also very good and cheap in Thailand.
Q: What kind of material is on the floor at the gyms in Thailand? How do i prevent getting a big blisters on my feet? A: Most gyms have a concrete floor. In the area where you work on the heavy bags there is in most gyms a soft carpet to help protect new students feet and to prevent slipping if the floor gets wet from sweat, and in the ring you have got the canvas. Blisters under the feet, especially the big toe is the most common problem for new students. Once you had your first blisters and they are healed, you get thick skin and I won't happen again. If you don't want it to happen in your first week in Thailand, then try to harden your feet at home already. We would highly advise is that you walk barfoot a lot in the weeks before you come to Thailand. Do rope skipping bare-foot on a concrete floor or pavement outside every day, this will also help you to build some cardio endurance for your training here. When you do proper Muay Thai kicks you are on your toes a lot, especially when kicking, so theres a lot of abrasion under your big toe. After a while you get thick skin, so try to do that at home already.

A: Yes, If you get got with a small amount of drugs or if the find trace of drugs in your urine, you will go to jail for a week, sent back and will be allowed to enter Thailand again. For drugs smuggling or dealing you get life in prison. The prison in Thailand is one of the worst in the world. You stare a cell with 50 inmates and sleep on the floor between rats and cockroaches. The heat is unbearable and many people get very sick. Only the strongest manage to stay alive. They say that the food is so bad, that the inmates give their food to the cockroaches and then eat the cockroaches to get some protine.
